Got a lot done in the past week, despite working a heck of a lot of hours (two jobs will do that to you!). Both Kady and Ladelyia are Brewmasters. Kady got it the hard way and Lade got it the easy way (returning the clothes and using the refunded tokens to buy the membership), but they both got the achievements and both pets so I'm happy with that. No mount for either toon, although one or two members of the guild did end up getting the ram I think. I'm thinking by this time next year both Kady and Ladelyia will have violet proto-drakes, I'm hoping anyway, we'll see. I may say "screw this" and just do the achievements I want or skip the ones that are ridiculous. Meh. It's whatev.So Ony...
I was on an alt getting ready to get a group of guild lowbies together to run Gnomer, when Nayana asks if anyone wants to do Ony-10. Since we hadn't defeated her in our guild run last Wednesday, none of us were locked and she was tired of her Super Fail pug group that she was already in (they died on trash). So we got a group together (Nayana's really good at finding good pugs), got in Vent and away we went.
We only wiped a couple of times (although one shouldn't count because 3 of us got hit with a wing swipe running to the back of the room and died), and while we were discussing things before we started our last, and successful, attempt, I said in vent, "Enough practice, let's down this bitch." Apparently, I should have said that sooner because it seemed to be just the boost we needed to defeat her ;) I didn't pick up any gear, but we got 3 triumph badges, so that was nice. 4 of our guild members went, so that makes more of us who are now familiar with the fight and succeeded at killing her, which will make our next guild attempt that much better.
Now all I need to do is get all the way through ToC-10...Super did that in a pug last week while I was sleeping, the bum. Hasn't stopped talking about the gear he got either... :-P
